In the melting pot of radically different cultures, all blending together in the port city of Corinth, the church was struggling to remain unified. The Corinthians had so twisted the celebration of the Lord’s Supper that it was hardly recognizable. To correct this problem, Paul teaches the church how to observe Communion.
