Calling all folks with able soles and seeking souls! Join Mountain View
Backcountry for a 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip to Blue Lake in the Crazy Mountains, with an optional one day challenging peak climb of Granite Peak for those interested. Our vision is to know and experience Jesus in a deeper way as we enter into His beautiful creation together. This trip is open to anyone, feel free to invite friends! The hike is moderate, about 7.4 miles round trip, with an elevation gain of 1,750’ (not including the climb to Granite Peak).
We will depart Friday at 8AM at Heritage Cristian School, and return about 5PM on Sunday. The trailhead begins and ends at Half Moon Campground. Limited to 10 people.
