When God comes your refuge, the rightful response is to rejoice.
Passage: Psalm 34
Discussion Questions:
1) Icebreaker: Have you ever “played dumb” to get out of a tricky situation? Share your story with others.
2) Do you spend time in private worship as well as corporate worship praising God? What does that specifically look like? How much does your situation in life (things going well or poorly) impact your praise?
3) Have you tasted and seen the goodness of God in your life? Recount one or two of those ways?
4) Are you brokenhearted and crushed in spirit by your sins and failures? What sin do you need to confess today?
5) Do you recount the many times God has delivered you from your enemies? What are some of those instances?
6) How are you currently “taking refuge” in the Lord (vv. 8, 22)? Where have you been seeking protection, safety, or comfort outside of God?
